What Looks Good?

It's June, which means that HeroesCon is this weekend and my birthday is right around the corner!  So let's celebrate by going to the comic shops!

Brightest Day #3 -- The ongoing saga of those who have been brought back to life continues!

One book?  Wow, I can't remember the last time it was only one new book!  Actually, yes I can, it was that Blackest Night which came out the week of New Years.  So there.

Tastes definitely vary, but there are a couple more possible gems out this week.

Cheers!

It's my youngest's birthday today, so I took her out to breakfast, dropped her off at school and then hit the shop on the way to work. Win-win-win.

Grabbed Brightest Day, but didn't stop there.

Darkstar and the Winter Guard #1 - for whatever reason, the Winter Guard (or Soviet Super Soldiers) have always intrigued me.

Superman/Batman Annual #4 - Batman Beyond in the house!

Jonah Hex - No Way Back. Did I mention it's my youngest's b-day? She's got a sleepover tomorrow night and I'm gonna need some recharging after dealing with 4 wound-up eight-year-old girls.

Surprisingly, I found myself pikcing up Red Hood: the Lost Days. Not sure why, other than the fact that the art is really, really impressive.
