What Looks Good?

The pollen here in the Upstate is getting out of hand.  My solution?  Stay indoors during the peak exposure times and read some comics.

Human Target #1 (New Printing) -- The Vertigo series?  I might get this if I see it.

Superman: The Coming of Atlas TPB -- I dug Superman: Brainiac, for a similar price, so let's try Robinson out!

Tiny Titans #27 -- The best Titans book on the shelf, bar none.

Iron Man Mark 3 #1 -- I'm a sucker.

The Phantom Double Shot: KGB Noir -- Two of my favorite things: The Ghost-Who-Walks and Commies getting smashed!

The Phantom: Ghost-Who-Walks #9 -- Can never have too much Phantom!

So, what looks good to YOU?

Dude - Superman: Brainiac was great! Check out the Superman: Legion of Super-Heroes trade as well. Good stuff!

I just read Tiny Titans #24 with all the Atom characters. I'm still laughing!!!

I called my comic shop and got a copy of The Coming of Atlas in my pullbox... should I go for Superman And The LOSH, or go forward from Brainiac and Atlas with New Krypton v.1?

Did you read the "Lightning Saga" in JLA and JSA a couple years ago? if so, I'd highly recommend "Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes". Then follow that up with "Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds". "Lightning Saga" isn't necessary to enjoy those others, it was just a nice primer for someone new to the Legion.

Alternatively, Atlas and New Krypton are good choices also.

Now before you read these, go find the novel "Star Wars: Heir to the Empire". :)

Not very definitive answers, but hope they helped.

I read the Justice Society issues of Lightning Saga and really disliked them. I don't know hardly anything about the LOSH besides what I have seen in cartoons and a few issues of the series which had Supergirl in it a few years ago. Maybe it would have made more sense if I was reading Justice League as well.

My local used book store (Mr. K's has a monthly coupon they email out for 20% off any one item, and they have a whole shelf of just Star Wars and Star Trek novels, so I will see if I can find a copy of Heir To The Empire and use my coupon on it!
